Linux and FreeBSD fun. > Box Backup > Client side:

Client side:

The client side is normally being run as user root to get access to all
files in the system.

Is the daemon running at the client.
Configuration file : /etc/box/bbackupd.conf

Is the control for the daemon.
Run bbackupctl from the command line and see the options.

Is the tool to restore files and directories from the store on the backup server.
Start the program up and type help. If you are familiar with the syntaks of
the ftp protocol, then it is a peace of cake to use.

!!!  Key files !!!

It is VERY important to have a backup of the key files.
They are located in /etc/box/bbackupd/*

If your machine crashes and you do not have these files then you can't
use your backup files.
